Dr J. Brent Gorrell

Biographical Information

Although originally from California, Dr. Gorrell moved to the Midwest when he was in junior high school and was raised in the metropolitan Chicago area. While completing his pre-dental requirements, he attended the University of Iowa on a swimming scholarship. He attended Northwestern University Dental School and graduated in 1979 receiving his DDS degree. Four extremely severe Chicago winters while in dental school convinced Dr. Gorrell to move to the milder climate of Northern California.

Since establishing his practice in 1979, Dr Gorrell strives to keep pace with the ever-changing developments and technology in the dental field. He’ is addicted to continuing education courses, a C.E. junkie. To that end, he is active in several organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, L.D. Pankey Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry in which he has earned his Fellowship and in the process of obtaining his Mastership later this year.

Dr. Gorrell enjoys spending his free time with his wife and his three children. His outside interests include mountain biking, swimming, snow skiing, scuba, jogging, a good novel, a dangerous red and a great restaurant.
